Get Up!

Competing in the Hawk Invitational will be some of the top programs in the country including Vanderbilt, Fairleigh-Dickinson, and host school UMES.

Millsboro Lanes has been selected as the venue for the competition, which begins Friday and extends into Sunday.

To get ready, we’re checking out the go-to spots in San Antonio.

For today, we’ve enlisted the help of Mr. Adam Richman from the Travel Channel’s Man v. Food. Check out Adam’s Vlog for some San Antonio favorites.

You can use the telestrator a couple different ways.

1. Drawing directly on the video.

• You can use your mouse to click and draw Xs, Os, arrows, lines, smiley faces, etc.

*To clear the telestrator, do this…

**You can also save a picture of the telestrator. Just “Save To File…” and follow the directions.

2. Drawing on the diagram.

• You can also use the telestrator on the court diagram below the video.
• You’ll need to calibrate the diagram w/ the video. Check it out…

Step 1: Click on “Calibrate this drawing area”.

Step 2: After you select “Calibrate this drawing area”, click on the four corners in the diagram starting w/ the back left and moving counter clockwise. Do the same w/ the court in the video.

*Now whatever you draw on the diagram will show up on the video and vice versa. Pretty groovy, huh?

Once you have synced a video to the statistics, you might notice some of the stats are not perfectly in line w/ the video. No worries! That happens sometimes when a statistic is coded a little late.

You’ll need to be in sync mode to fix a late statistic. As soon as you see the late stat happen (in the picture below, it is a dig by Max Mauro), click on the statistic in the stream to the right.

The dig by Max Mauro will now be perfectly in line with the video. You can repeat this process with any statistic (after you have performed the initial sync of course).

*If you need to delete a sync, there will be an “x” in the top right corner of the sync (the arrow below is pointing out the sync).

A few things to remember…

• Your game footage should be one continuous video. There is no need to stop recording for time outs, stoppage of play, or between games.
• Because you only have one video, you only need to sync once (makes sense, right?).
• If you record each game (a.k.a. a set) individually, you will need to sync each video individually.

Step 1: Export Match

To export the match you like, simply click on export. If there is video attached, the video will go too (i.e., the file will be much, much larger and you won’t need to re-import the video into StatEasy).

Go ahead and save the match file to a flash drive, an external hard drive, or a floppy disk.

On computer B, drag and drop the match file from your external drive into the “StatEasy is Running Window”. Pictured here in this lagoon.

*Remember, if there was video synchronized to the match statistics on Computer A, you won’t need to re-upload the video on Computer B.

Step 4: Manage Stat Imports

From the Dashboard, click “Manage Stat Imports” (now glowing red) and review your stats.
